We'd like to begin our latest update with a HUGE thank you to our wonderful subscribers! We are SO pleased with the positive feedback we've received about our brand new maths scheme.

We have been working really hard on this project, and it brings us so much joy to know how much you and your pupils are enjoying using the resources. We are excited to get even more of this fantastic new range published for you.

You may be aware that we have had a few teething problems with the launch of our new maths scheme due to a variety of factors beyond our control over the summer. However, we are now on schedule to be two weeks ahead by the end of half term which we're sure you'll be thrilled to hear! We really appreciate your patience during this challenging period and we hope the hard work going on behind the scenes is shining through in the quality of this new range.

This academic year, we launched the first of our mixed age resources. Thank you for all of the kind words we've received regarding this. We know there has been a huge gap in the resource world for mixed age year groups and we're so happy to finally be in a position to support you with this.

As always, we keep a close eye on the popularity of our resource lines to ensure that we are providing for our subscribers' wants and needs first and foremost. After studying our data, it has become apparent that DU subscribers are TEN TIMES more likely to use our KS2 mixed age planning than KS1 teachers. This has also been backed up from our research schools that Year 1/2 teachers are not making use of our mixed age planning, instead choosing to teach from our single age offering.

As a result of this and the time constraints we are experiencing, we have made the decision to put the Year 1/2 mixed age planning on hold for the time being so that our full attention can be paid to our single age and Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 mixed age planning. We know this will benefit our KS2 mixed age subscribers greatly as it will bring our planning more closely in line with our single age planning. We will continue to work with our advisors and research schools to create a workable format for the next academic year, so KS1 teachers watch this space...

It takes almost a full day to complete a single step per year group! Planning and presenting the overviews, tasks and teaching slides, along with creating the answers, takes up most of the working day. Then, we need to create the answers and put each element of the resource pack through our thorough checking process.

Each resource is carefully crafted for progression and consistency and we aim to have the highest quality resources you will find in the resource world!
